Rescued from sacrifice by the goddess Diana, Iphigenia now serves as her priestess in Tauris, longing for home while King Thoas seeks her hand in marriage. When two Greek strangers arrive—her brother Orestes and his friend Pylades—neither recognizes the other. Orestes carries a family curse and seeks redemption through a cryptic oracle, while Iphigenia faces an impossible choice between duty and freedom.
