The Tempest

On a remote island, Prospero, a banished duke and magician, lives with his daughter Miranda and his servants—the monster Caliban and the spirit Ariel. When a ship carrying his treacherous brother passes nearby, Prospero conjures a storm that wrecks it. The survivors wash ashore, setting in motion Prospero's elaborate plan involving magic, romance, and revenge, as he confronts betrayal and contemplates forgiveness.
