On a remote island, the magician Prospero lives in exile with his daughter Miranda and his servants—the monster Caliban and the spirit Ariel. When a ship carrying his treacherous brother passes nearby, Prospero conjures a storm that wrecks it, scattering the survivors across the island. He then sets in motion an elaborate plan involving magic, romance, and revenge that will determine everyone's fate.
